How to make a simple candle holder:
In this post I will show you how to how to make a simple candle holder. They illuminate the area around them extremely well, giving off enough light to read by or do a spot of campcraft once the sun goes down.

Items needed:
- Stick of hazel
- Twine
- Candle
Here is the stick of Hazel that I used

Remove all bark if you wish to. Then cut a half-way through.
This is where the candle will rest.

This is where the candle will rest.

On the other side that you cut half-way though, spit the stick
2 inches down.

Pull the twine half way down the split. This will hold the candle in
place.

On the opposite side of the stick, carve a point.
This will hold the stick in the ground. Just like a tent peg.

Then fasten your candle and light it.
----
And thats it!
